Ink and water art or ink-wash painting as a concept that is conceived via connotations of Chinese paintingis a resultof the combination of the obsession for this type ofart and the contemporary cultural context. In recent years, it has become a well-known phenomenon that the ink-wash paintinghas progressed remarkably, anddifferent types of ink-wash art exhibitions emerge in various streams in China.

在法国哲学家看来，葡萄酒是一种极为矛盾又多变的饮料。它看上去是液体，实际上是太阳和土壤结合的产物，再经过压榨和酝酿出的汁液。因此，葡萄酒在本质上是干燥的，具有一种破解和转换的魔力。葡萄酒的酿酒师如同炼金术士一般，提炼、融合并释放大自然的能量。

Ink and water artwork, like any other kind of art, has a universal spiritual value that helps its development over time. Currently, we are now in a period where artistic language is evolving and artistic concepts have developed to the point where they are breaking through, and ink and water artwork is an important part of this process. A key part of the process to complete this transformation is when the artists construct and reorganize traditional ink and water artistic styles into their own signature style. These new styles create more possibilities and pluralism for the artists to imagine new way to utilize the ink and water artistic medium.

丹德力艺术中心将于2012年7月6日－7月12日在798桥艺术空间举办“写意精神”梁雪英绘画作品展。梁雪英生于香港，师从岭南画派大师赵少昂教授，1997年被中央美术学院录取为硕士研究生，师从张立辰教授，1999年毕业获硕士学位。

“易•观”的第一回展，是在2009年的时候，当时展览的主题是新工笔绘画提名展，囊括了新工笔画派的顶尖艺术家，展览在当时引起了不小的反响，也正是那次展览的成功，坚定了丹德力艺术中心把“易•观”作为一个具有学术价值的品牌继续推动下去的决心。时隔一年半之后，在龙年伊始，“易•观”第二回展在798的桥艺术空间盛装开幕了。此次展览并没有刻意区分工笔和水墨的界限，而是以整体水墨的概念为基准，穿起了整个展览。

In the context of cultural diversity, the question of how to interpret contemporary Chinese traditional ink and water art has been a heated issue since the 20th century. The “Changing View” nomination exhibition of contemporary ink and water art is based on this academic perspective and is intended to open the possibilities of a new form of expression for traditional ink and water art.

Since the beginning of the 20th century, the modernization of traditional Chinese art language dominates the evolution of Chinese art , which has been heavily influenced by the Western art. The purpose of Changing View: Nomination Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Gongbi Art is to explore the new possibilities of the Gongbi style in representing traditional Chinese art with a contemporary twist.

丹德力艺术中心致力于在传统文化的根基上推广语言本土化的当代艺术。在研究和推动“新工笔”绘画艺术现象的同时，我们希望能从更为宏观的视角探讨中国传统与当代现实生活之间的内在联系与发展。基于这样的观点，丹德力艺术中心在全力推动高端艺术品市场的同时，也希望借助古典名画的复制品推广，建立更为广泛的艺术品收藏基础。
