As one of the top ten traditional Chinese flowers, In China, the flower is one of 10 most favored traditional flowers and symbol of good fortune, beauty, purity and elegance.,Daffodil is in full blossom in winter, which is a season many flowers wither and die. and welcomes the spring with its blossoms and sweet fragrance.
The daffodil is a unique flower, not only because it could survive the cold winter, but also because its root can be sculptured. By carving its root, you may change the plant into the shape you want. Daffodil root sculpture is not difficult to learn and it is fun to see how you can play the magic on the plant with your own hands.
Dandeli Art Space will invite Professor Liu Zhenqing from Beijing University of Technology to share with the audience his skills and storties of daffodil root sculpture. Why not join us and welcome the spring with a DIY daffodil sculpture?

Driving Directions: From the Dajiaoting Bridge on the Fourth Ring Road, drive east along Guangqu Road, past three traffic lights (about 1,700 meters far). Keep going straight ahead, and then turn around to the west before reach an overhead road. After driving 200 meters to the west, you will see the Image Base on the northern side of the road. Enter the Image Base, go straight north, turn to the left at the second intersection, and turn to the left again till you reach the end. Dandeli Art Space is located at the building with a green square flag.
Bus Lines: Take Bus No.11 at the southeast of Guomao and get off at Xiaohaizi, you will see the Image Base across the street to your right.
