Asia America Multi-technology Association (AAMA ) and Dandeli Art Space jointly planned and hosted  a liquor tasting night for AAMA elite members in Dandli Gallery locating in Image Base Beijing on January 11, 2009.

2009 Dandeli’s New Initiative. We believe that art creates spiritual abundance and inspires us to see the world with fresh eyes. However, creativity is not a privilege of an artist and art should not be confined in the space of museum.

When I taught undergraduate and postgraduate students at TsinghuaUniversity, I found that the older and the more experienced a student became the more intellectual he or she would be. It is said that one who succeeds in one area can comprehend the whole world through correlation and analogy. Therefore, my speech today will be an easy one and will stimulate more interaction.

To celebrate Mothers’ Day, Dandeli Art Center presented a orchestra concert，A Story of Mom and Me to Dandeli’s friends on 11th May 2008.

May 19th to 21st, 2008 is the national mourning period for China and we salute those who sacrificed their lives to rescue earthquake victims and mourn those who lost their lives and lives of family members.  If there is anything that mother nature hopes to teach us, it is that we must respect nature and appreciate the love and care surrounding us. 

Dandelion is a beautiful name.

Image Base Beijing is the home for both Dandeli Gallery and Cool Family. Its interesting past and promising future is what makes it so attractive. 

As society advances, our living standards continue to rise. While improved living standards are still connected to improvements in life’s material accumulation, some people have started to associate improved living standards with better health and increased spirituality.  Along this path towards alternative improved living standards is Hsu Hsiaoming, a well-known Taiwan film director, who initiated and created with his friends a community called Family de Cool (the “Family”) .  Concept of Family

China has never been a land suffering from spiritual nor cultural poverty. The Chinese people have created countless art treasures in the country’s 5,000-year history. The arts are a reflection of a country’s economic power and cultural achievement in each age. In the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty, in which the overall power of ancient China reached its peak, China’s paintings, calligraphy and literature welcomed an unprecedented boom with memorable artists.

While western art world is composed mainly of sculptures, paintings and architectural works, it is sculptures which are written in history as the oldest and firstly matured art form. This differs greatly from Chinese tradition, where studies of painting and calligraphy are celebrated while the art of sculptures is depreciated as an insignificant skill or merely as an attachment to architecture. The sculptor’s position is thus relegated to that of a craftsman and largely ignored by art history.
