Dandeli Art Center Launches Tokihiro Sato's Solo Exhibition Titled “Photo-Respiration”

The sun comes down on the snow-white moth orchids on the table through the transparent roof of Dandeli Art Center. The water drops on the petals glitter as if the sunlight breathes shallowly. Tokihiro Sato’s black-and-white photographs are bathed in subdued spotlights. The particles of light dispersed throughout the landscapes, cityscape and deserted houses in the photographs creates scenes of light that seem to breathe. Sato’s works always remind the audience that the light is the origin of life of photographs.

Dandeli Art Center has meticulously created the said ambience to match “Photo-Respiration by Tokihiro Sato”, the first photography exhibition launched in the gallery.
